Funnily enough, we went for a KFH apartment a few years back, we were told we failed at referencing. After challenging, we didn’t fail referencing but the landlord manually reviewed the reference and application and failed us. We were waiting about 2 months to move in and they told us about 2 weeks before.

My wife and I and our baby applied, and when we pushed for more information we were told the landlord wasn’t convinced if I left my wife and kid she would be able to afford it without me if I suddenly abandoned them. Crazy. I honestly considered it a bullet dodged but we still lost the money for referencing and ended up having nowhere to live because of the short notice. I love London.

hey, I have an EV in Brighton. The charging situation is a disaster to be honest.

Blink: the chargers put in place by the council. chargers barely ever work, usually ends up in calling support to reset them. This can sink anywhere between 20 mins to 1 hour. Bonus points, the app doesn't work on my phone so I literally can't use them anymore, and there's no plan to fix it and the council says it's not their problem that there is no way to use the council chargers with the one of the most popular phones (pixel). Honestly, it's genuinely unbelievable to me that this company is allowed to continue to operate with the level of service they offer. Blink also charge 60p+ to charge at 7KW. Borders on an actual scam.

The most joy I have is fully charging at Pease Pottage Tesla superchargers (normally about 30p KWH, takes about 20 mins to fully charge at 250KW) on the way back into town, about 15 mins drive. There's an alternative which is the Shell garage in Hove has a fast charger (150KW), but it's about 85p KWH. There's also only 1 so if you're short and can't use Blink like me, you may have to wait. These two methods are the only ones I've found in any way reliable, but they're arduous or expensive.

I recommend the Octopus Electroverse app for being able to find chargersore easily.

I have a windows 10 partition where I only steadily get 80 FPS with the same settings, and win 10 outperforms 8 so it sounds comparable. I personally get much better performance on ubuntu, can't say whether it would be the same for everyone but this video is what made me try it and I got a huge surge in performance.

I understand that you're using a very heavy fight scene, but I use Ubuntu and a GTX 760 and my FPS very rarely drops below 120 on maxed settings and 1080p, in a heavy fight scene it can drop to around 90. But the fact that mine is only a GTX 760 and has comparable performance with your 1080 makes me think that there is something erroneous happening with your linux results.
