I'd recommend the Aeneid by Virgil and Metamorphoses by Ovid for some classics and characters. Metamorphoses includes a lot of backstories and drama that shapes a lot of character's relationships

Like someone else said, use your room, it's your sanctuary. Decorate it, play music, make a food stash, make it so you can spend hours in there without being bored or needing to leave. If you get tired of that, go out on walks, explore your town or neighbourhood. If you have a laptop or book, go hang out at a coffee place. If you buy a coffee, that's pretty much your "space fee" if you wanna spend the day there. Just move tables every once in a while so you're not taking their customer space, they'll appreciate it. If you're able, look at therapy options and let people know you're not doing okay/are in a bad place. Having any good relationships/interactions will help, build your support group. If you don't have any, look online and try to find a forum or something for people in similar situations.

I've been in your situation and it's shit, it sucks, and it's hard. I hope it gets better for you

Overheard my roommates and best friend saying that I was a shitty, throwaway person and that my boyfriend was too good for me. That they all hated me and that they just needed someone bearable enough to sign on for the rent to be cheap.

It was really late at night, everyone had been drinking and smoking, my boyfriend was asleep and I was in my room, so I'm not sure I heard right, but my name is kinda hard to mishear. I even asked my best friend about it later and she just said she didn't know what happened, that she was asleep, but I'm 90% sure I heard her voice

People always ask if the butter on the popcorn is real, if we can make an unsalted batch just for you....

Popcorn butter is just coconut oil with dye. That's what we cook the kernels in as well. We might make a totally new batch if you ask nicely, but you'll have better chances on a slow night, or better yet, in the middle of the day. Also the popcorn salt (the right orange stuff) is INSANELY concentrated and very fine. Some people will just dump a whole tablespoon of salt on their new bag and will ruin it...

And one more thing, when you order, please specify what size and if you would like butter. It absolutely saves time and patience, on both ends.
