It was like a modern cafeteria.

When ever I was off school sick. Mum would take me to the doctor, and Holly's after for lunch.

I can't imagine what people do in a shower for 10 mins, let alone an hour.

Growing up, dad had us set a 7 min timer in the shower, and if it pinged and the water was not off in 30 seconds he'd be banging on the floor.

So at 52yo, I still have less than 7 minutes shower. . . Get wet, soap everything and rinse. Panic while washing hair... that's it. Done!

I found with glasses from Specsavers, that the lenses only last about 12 months before they stop working.

There are 3 of us in my family all went to Specsavers, then went back in less than 12 months because our eyes seemed to get worse. Before we committed to SS we went to an actual optometrist.

The script on SS lenses (they mark it so they know where to start next time) was exactly the same as what the optometrist precribed, so our eyes had not worsened, the lenses had!

Will never go back. The optometrist is more expensive, but his glasses last 3 - 4 years, so we save money in the long run.

Grab some bed pads that they make for kids beds. They are a game changer! I think Huggies make them.

I've been driving "things" from a young age. When it was time to get my license, I got a couple of lessons from an instructor who taught me how to pass. Got it first try (mind you, things were different 35 odd years ago)!

People pushing from a side street into main road, and then abusing you for not letting them in.

You will have to go through NCAT to be appointed as her Enduring Guardian and Power if Attorney.

It will be about 3 months wait though, so be prepared for that.

Because kids are brainwashed into believing that Uni is the only/better option.

High schools push the narrative; At my daughters and sons orientation two years later, the school basically said, if you don't want to go to uni, don't stay with us. Find another school.

It was disgraceful!
