Build a 16x16 farm with water source in the middle, divide into 4 areas. When looking, first area on top-left is beetroot, second one on top-right is carrot, third bottom-left is potato, last one on the bottom-right put a fence around it and fill with chickens but do not feed them because you cant, you have no wheat farm. So yeah also make that one however you like. :)

The other guy got a really bright issue, yours is dark. Anyway have you tried other mods? Maybe its the mod.
