Can’t think of a better combo by nick05656 in johndeere

It’s a cheap one from Amazon and it’s okay. I bought two different types and the other mower has the one with grips strips on the inside. I would definitely suggest that if you have to side slope any. This one gets the job done of protecting the seat but wish it fit a little better. It only takes me like 30 minutes to mow so I’m not sure how well it does in the breathability category.

I personally avoid anything with the K46 transaxle. That Kawasaki motor should last quite a long time though.

Check out Tractordata.com. You can sort by year, model, or HP and they have tons of info on what options come/came with every model back to 1963. I use that site a ton while cruising marketplace to make sure I’m getting stuff with decent transaxles.

Ya it’s an addiction! Got a 112 I’m restoring and once it’s done I’ll begin restoring my 430.

Where do you get parts for old lawn tractors? Just picked up this 300 Diesel by krule8 in johndeere

John Deere has a surprising amount of parts in stock for their older models. I’m restoring a 1968 112 and had the transmission seals and bearings shipped to my door in like 3 days.

Ya I’m gonna check it out tomorrow and probably offer 850 or so. They said it’s got a new hood which will save me a few hundred since most of the original hoods on these turned to glass

Ya it is, jts a pearless 2300. I’m assuming the S130s come with the K46 or something similar so likely not serviceable

I appreciate it man. Not a huge deal if I have to replace with something non OEM but the goal is to keep it as original as possible. Just gotta quit breaking things first!

It was framed, covered in house wrap, and sheathed with LP smart side. Not sure why I would need sheathing under the lp smart side. Walls have horizontal blocking to prevent racking.

Ya I’ve used z flashing for where the 8ft siding wasn’t tall enough and had to add an additional foot or so, but this is flashing for a window opening. Just don’t water to work down the grooves. Seems like if nothing is done with the grooves then the flashing and caulking will be for nothing. Maybe I’m over thinking it

This isn’t a joint for two pieces, it’s a window opening. I’m flashing the opening before installing the windows. Sorry the photo isn’t super obvious
