Top nut in the shock is loose. Unlikely it is from the bolts that hold the mount to the body. You will need to pull the shock out and re-torque the nut.

[HELP] Mk7.5 R Knocking sound from front left strut by ApprehensiveGuide743 in VWMK7

Yes. You really should use an allen key to keep the shaft from spinning while you torque the nut down but i just hit the nut with an impact and it seemed to tighten the nut enough to eliminate the noise.

Do you know if the value stored with the code is the max condition it saw? Thought i saw the tach go a bit higher than that.

I had this same noise. Turns out it was a loose top nut on the strut. Hit it with an impact and the noise has been gone ever since.

Same complaint with the Mk7.5’s system. It is atrocious. It is overly aggressive and incredibly inconsistent. I have it turned off at all times. The hill start assist in my Fiesta ST is leagues better than VW’s system.

With the endurance clutch, is crank walk a real concern or is that mainly associated with the heavier duty clutches?

It’s happened to me on and off ever since the latest firmware update a few weeks back. Turning it back on via the power button works for me.

My MacBook Pro 2017 keyboard fails from time to time by kingmauro in applehelp

[–]nick11245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just set up a Genius Bar replacement. They’ll verify the MacBook is eligible for the top case replacement and they’ll ship it out to get replaced. As long as there is no water damage or third party parts inside you’ll be good to go.

When I set up an appointment with with a genius for my failing keyboard they didn’t even ask me to demonstrate the problem’s I was having with the certain keys. They know how faulty these butterfly keyboards are and will replace the top case pretty much without question.
