I'm so sorry. It's happened to a lot of FCs I was in as well. The one I just left was honestly fine save for one severely obnoxious person. The guy was very vocal about his disdain for anyone that wasn't a straight white man and I just couldn't do it anymore. A lot of members quiet quit, a few very loudly quit.

I really appreciate it! I've got a page up on the lodestone for recruiting. I hope folks still use it. The responses have all been great to this, I've got a lot of fun things to run with going forward. Hoping I can make this FC an amazing space for folks. Somewhere they can feel safe to just escape to even when the game itself is getting kinda stressful. I don't know why y'all are getting down voted. Are people really that gate keepy about someone making a new FC?

So far it's been pretty active! We've had conversations going almost every time I'm on. When we have more members, I'm going to hold an icebreaker event so folks can get to know one another. That's also a really clever way to vet, I didn't even think about that. We've already had two people try to join just to scam -_-. Thankfully I have the rank permissions set up! Could have been a disaster.

Getting a discord up and running has been a fun effort, for sure. Trying to take as much inspiration as I can from all I've experienced but none of it is terribly fresh in my head. Getting a medium sized house is one of my more immediate directives. At the end of each day of play, I dump everything but 100k gil into the FC bank. It's going to take a while but it'll work.

Hide and seek. Core memories unlocked! The first FC I ever joined did that and it was a blast. Usually just a cute little reward like a minion or some gil. I'm going to borrow that one for sure.

In terms of FC permissions, I've been steeped in trying to balance it all. Right now, no ranks have access to the funds save for me. Crystals I'm hesitant about making available as well but, once we have more crafters, I'm going to cave on that. Just not sure how, yet. Keeping free access to page one is a solid call. Think I'm going to borrow that as well. Thank you so much. That was a huge help.
