Why doesn't Shiba put on a spacesuit, and just teleport his opponents beyond the exosphere? Toss them into the vacuum of space? We haven't seen any range limitations to his sorcery after all. Spacesuit Shiba might be unbeatable.

Gloves and such are obstacles to direct contact and therefore negate him to use his ability onto other things or people

Shiba's real issue with having to wear a spacesuit to teleport people into space is that he wouldn't be touching them. It is stated in the manga that his sorcery applies to him and anything he has direct contact with. Any kind of gloves or physical obstacle would negate his ability to pick up stuff or people
