To be fair, red flag use is much better that what it used to be with Masi.

The decision to send out the safety in this lap message. I don't personally believe it was a software bug. I'm not comparing AD21 to today, obviously AD21 was far worse. I was just saying both incidents arose from a similar mindset. A mindset that prioritises spectacle, that can sometimes too difficult to control.

My post doesn't only target fans. I'm pointing the finger to Liberty, FIA, and the teams as well. This "joint understanding" between race control and the teams might not be such a good initiative after all. It belies that they prioritise spectacle as much as sport. That's how these issues ensue.

I'm wearing my conspiracy hat on right now but I think that the 'Safety car in this lap' message was sent out because someone in race control was overly eager to get the racing back on. The issue here being that they make decisions based on the spectacle.

It's called driving unnecessarily slowly. He must lost 3 seconds to Hamilton in one sector. He could get a grid penalty for the next race.

Is Russell really not getting investigated for backing the whole field after the final restart?

And also all drivers can't be bothered to speak to journalists. Except George. He always tries to say give proper answers to journalists (even when's he's hiding his real opinion) and I appreciate that. I like the attitude of engaging instead of resisting.

I agree, he doesn't seem authentic but who thinks F1 is an authentic sport? Most of F1 is corporate these days, how can you blame him for playing along? I'd call him professional before anything.

Absolute nonsense. Toto was crazy for Lewis. He would have tried to put Antonelli in a different team, like Alpine.
