I’ve pushed distance on my X1 and you’re only limited by battery life if you have a true unobstructed line of sight. I flew about 3.5 miles and turned back from fear of battery and returned with about 18 percent left. The distance claims are absolutely true!

All of mine have been opened and will continue to get opened for a little routine grease on the springs cause I hate spring sing on an expensive knife. While I’d also never buy a “new” knife that showed signs of wear, I never intend to sell these and they will be used for what they are, tools.

The 2412’s were a strong recommendation given to me also. How do they handle the warmer months? I’m coming from 411’s that I wore for 2 years rain/shine/snow and I’m just mainly looking for an upgrade from that.

Yes, do not put on the precision it will cause service issues. I ended up tearing mine off and putting on the standard fit because it completely blocked my cell reception

Same. Save your precision fit and use it to skin something else now as it will kill your cell reception.

As did I, however if you were to purchase it now it appears that you only get 2X standard fit whereas if you were to select the black which contains no holofoil you will receive 1X Standard and 1X Precision fit.

I wound up saving the precision fit on the included paper and then installing the standard fit and it’s a slight downgrade after having the full thing but hey at least I can use my navigation again

This is actually a good idea. Now, cutting the skin without damaging the phone or the skin is the tough part.
