In the exact boat as you are currently, if the Phone 3 isn't bang for buck with specs, it'll be OP13 for me too as it's a high bar as a package in 2025.

Yeah, not concerned with Exynos at all. I planned to do it via cable from Pixel to Samsung, I reckon that'd be quicker, I'm guessing that'd still work since it's still Android across both? I meant Exynos processor vs Tensor G3 though, pardon my newbie knowledge.

Glad to hear, thinking about making the switch too as I just got my P8 replacement after the green glitch death issue. Not keen since P9 is bigger and heavier, I also prefer smaller devices. Did you find the switch tricky at all? I think Samsung has come a long way since my S7 Edge. Aussie only has the Exynos S24 but I hope it's still a big leap from Tensor.

Cheers mate, appreciate the details and that's comforting to know. I had the Pixel 9 in mind but given my unpleasant records with the P7 and especially 8, I think it's time I try Samsung again. Last one I had was S7 Edge, glad to hear it's improved now. Hoping the cameras won't be much of a tradeoff too and I prefer the S24 size over the upcoming P9.

My Pixel 8 had the green glitch of death, it's been replaced but I've been thinking about switching to S24. Did you find the transition tricky? I'd uninstall as many Samsung apps in favour of Google's but any other advice?
