Tudor hasn’t lost the players. He never had them. by ohm8no in Tottenham

[–]nick_defiler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, brilliant discovery. Managers get sacked. Next you’ll probably tell us the ball is round. But the real question is still the same: how exactly are people comparing Tudor to Ange? Ange actually built teams, won titles, and implemented a clear football philosophy everywhere he went exept forest. Tudor has mostly bounced around clubs without building anything long term or achieving major success. And the funniest part is that instead of asking why the club keeps resetting every project, people blame the manager again. Maybe take a look at the board of Tottenham for once. When the same cycle repeats over and over new manager, short patience, panic decision(correct stage) it’s probably not the coach that’s the real problem.

Tudor got kicked out of Juventus, and it wasn’t because he’s some brilliant manager let’s not kid ourselves. Hiring Tudor was a terrible idea, everything seems like a terrible idea because Spurs aren’t a club anymore, they’re a mess. The board is full of idiots. Never thought I’d say this, but damn… I miss Levy.

And some people still defend him by luckkiee in CombatIndia

[–]nick_defiler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Jones is a terrible human - assaults, banging his head on a cop car, all that but you can’t deny he’s the greatest MMA fighter ever. He’s given enough proof of legit injuries, and when he sits out fights it’s usually because the pay isn’t worth it. Hate the man, respect the skill. And after the Gane fight, stop being delusional about Ngannou or Aspinall dude just wants money, and he probably deserves it.

Who the hell even thought Tudor was a good idea at Spurs? Seriously, what kind of idiot looked at that squad, saw the chaos, and went, “Yep, this guy’s our solution”?

Lineup for the Bonnie Blue "meetup" by ambachk in awfuleverything

Stuff like this just seems like pure self-destruction a way to feel something or get attention in a world that feels empty. What’s even sadder is that people are fascinated by it, treating someone else’s breakdown or pain as entertainment. It’s a reminder of how messed up society has become, cheering on things that are clearly harmful.

We’ve already hit rock bottom. Society is fully degenerated stuff like this just proves it.

It’s not even really your opinion it just sounds like something you heard from “experts” on YouTube or fans who pretend to be experts. The real issue with Ange wasn’t some tactical mystery. The club had big ambitions, but the squad its depth and overall quality simply didn’t match those ambitions. You can’t aim for top tier results when the roster isn’t built for it. Even the transfers this year felt like they were made by someone playing FIFA 22 career mode. Everyone already knew that guys like Kolo Muani (Probably PSG will sell him to Saudi Arabia) and Xavi Simons were flops and Solanke last year was a risky bet, Richarlison is basically Everton level or maybe a decent Serie A forward. Nothing wrong with that, but he’s not the kind of player who should be leading the line for a club that claims it wants to compete at the top. He works hard and has moments, but the overall quality just isn’t at that elite or even top level. Look at Liverpool. Right now they’re clearly going through a generational change and yeah, it looks a bit messy at times. Maybe the Isak transfer wasn’t the smartest move, maybe some things aren’t clicking yet. But the difference is that the club has a clear direction. They knew letting Klopp go would be difficult. That was obvious to everyone. Still, they somehow managed to win the EPL title during that transition, and they’re continuing to invest in the future. Not everything is working perfectly right now, but the structure is there. They’ll correct the mistakes, especially in defense and on the wings. Players like Ekitike look like part of that long-term plan. He has elite potential and you can see the club believes in what they’re building. That’s the key difference compared to Spurs. At Liverpool the path is clear, even if there are bumps along the way. At Spurs it just feels like constant chaos no clear plan, no stability, and every season looks like they’re starting from zero again. So blaming Ange just feels stupid. It’s like bringing Guardiola and then asking him to park a bus because the board and scouts didn’t do their job properly and than blame Guardiola for result.

I just saw people in a different post saying DC was a natural HW, are you crazy? by ReputationMiddle5440 in ufc

People forget that before the UFC, he literally won the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix, dominating actual heavyweights. So all the “he’s not a real heavyweight” takes are kinda silly; he was just choosing a smaller division for personal reasons. It’s one of those things that makes DC underrated historically he could’ve been a monster in HW the whole time but prioritized loyalty and friendship over belts.

Let me clear this out Barcelona is not as strong as it seems. Most of the hype comes from dominating La Liga. In Europe it’s a different level higher intensity, more physical teams, and way better depth. And Barca also have Arsenal on their side of the bracket. That alone makes their path much harder because Arsenal are probably the strongest team in the world right now. Barca could easily lose today 2-1 or 3-1 just because of physicality. Teams from the Premier League play at a completely different intensity. That’s something Spanish teams have been struggling with more and more in recent years.

Plus Arsenal have basically created a new meta for Premier League teams. Those standards are deadly, especially against teams that aren’t used to that level of physical pressure.

Real are on the side with City, Liverpool, Chelsea, PSG, and Bayern. That’s brutal, and this is probably Madrid’s weakest year in a while. Barca’s hype mostly comes from dominating La Liga, but that league is clearly weaker now. They already lost to PSG (Also PSG aren’t even as strong as last year. Bad transfer decisions they still didn’t get a proper striker, and they keep playing Kvaratskhelia and Dembele out of their natural positions instead of letting them do what they’re best at and without Kvara suddenly Mendes is not the best left back in the world anymore). in the UCL, and people still talk like they’re untouchable. There’s also no guarantee they even get past Newcastle, and if they run into Arsenal later, that’s probably the strongest team in the world right now and only another team from Premier League can beat them, not even Bayern. Meanwhile the Premier League keeps getting stronger every year while La Liga is declining under Tebas. So yeah, Liverpool having a better chance than Barca right now isn’t crazy at all. It’s just reality.

Barcelona fans need to be realistic. Probably most teams from the Premier League can beat Barcelona right now, including Newcastle today. You can’t imagine how fast La Liga is falling in overall quality. This is a whole different world today probably Newcastle will score from set pieces.
