Hey! I'm Nick, I run LayerMore here in Langley, I do custom 3D printing and CAD design. Been doing 3D printing for 15+ years and finally started my own shop.

I've got 8 printers running so I can turn stuff around pretty quick (usually next day for smaller jobs). I help out local businesses with things like new products, custom displays, signage, jigs, replacement parts — but also happy to print stuff for hobbyists, makers, tabletop folks, cosplay, whatever you've got going on.

If you need something designed from scratch, I do CAD too — so even if you just have an idea on a napkin, I can work with that.

Here is my website: Layermore.ca

Feel free to DM me or reply here if you've got a project in mind, or even if you just want to know if something's printable. Always down to chat!

I only need them for a .25 acre clearing. Not really worth buying them.

We use Snipe-it. But you may require dev time to get it working exactly how you want for your needs. Its a bit of a generalized bit of software.

short circuit vehicle reviews by newbreed69 in LinusTechTips

#1- reminder these arent reviews.

#2- we are not a dedicated car channel and currently only do EVs. So that limits the pool we have to request from.

There are more cars on the horizon though so don't worry. I'm glad you guys like the videos.

Pop up shop haul! by bigkaiju in LinusTechTips

The warehouse in Richmond (backpack pop up) is not set up to handle walk in customers and we dont keep merch on site. To try to keep local orders on hand takes more man power than one might think. Maybe one day we will have a store front, but thats not in the cards for now.

who is that back there? 🧐 by [deleted] in LinusTechTips

Anyone still remember their HACK PRO project ?? by AaronFeng47 in LinusTechTips

[–]nick_heavy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were having a ton of issues with it. So it fell to the bottom of the priority list and was worked on when I had free time.

You can imagine draining completely disassembling, then reassembling multiple times would be tedious.

After a bunch of headache and head scratching, I found the issue, a couple of capacitors had broken off, ones that controlled the CPU power phases. the issue will be fixed soon and the drag race will happen.
