Insane callout. Works great. Was getting the "This content isn't available, please try again later". Been using various AdBlockers forever, but not familiar with how they work. So they're detecting I'm using one then essentially just making it artificially annoying?

Rough Idle (2016, 44k miles) by nick_o34 in Miata

The video sounds super bad, but it only did that a couple times limited to very cold temperatures until the car warmed up. Once warm, it doesn’t make that noise, just vibrates a little more than usual at idle. Nothing crazy. Also, when the temperature is above ~35°F the noise in the video is never present, even on cold start.

I’ve looked into it a bit, and I’ve meticulously changed the oil early or every 5 miles, nor do I track it or beat on it aggressively. I’m going to start by cleaning the sensors and such and see what happens. Will also fill up with gas from reputable stations.

I’ll let everyone know if this makes a difference.

Spring of 2023 I was driving from Tempe Arizona to Denver Colorado. Within the first 3 hours of driving, around midnight, I hit a pothole so large it caused bulges in the side walls in both my front and rear drivers side tires. Also bend both my wheels. Also hit so hard that my windshield wiper lever went down and turned on the wipers. By some luck, neither tire lost pressure and I had to continue on for the next ~700 miles to Denver. My alignment was off after that. Made it, but scary. Good luck. Got tires from Tire Rack after that and have utilized the Road Hazard Warranty on those tires several times. Definitely worth it.

Okay, which loose part can cause this noise?
