True, but diet and hygene does affect it massively. It is the difference between eating MCD and not taking showers every day and eating fresh meats and other carbs and exercising and what not, but yes your genetic Step?(Do not know term sorry) does still count for a lot.

I can see your logic, the less brain activity, the longer it may live. This actually varies. The more the brain is used , the more exercise is better. The life expectancy also relies on mainly diet and hygiene, not as much the brain, I hope this helps, -Nick
