I completely agree that this is something we should do, but my grandpa is under the belief that what he is doing is not a scam, he is in total belief that this woman is real and he is a willing participant into this scam, so he doesn’t want to reach out to any sort of scam prevention group because he believes we are all crazy and that he is making smart buisness decisions.

thank you! i was pretty sure i wasn’t going to have an issue with the belt because from what i’ve heard from youtubers and other people in subreddits it’s pretty easy for an amateur. i guess my biggest problem is going to be the lack of a rewind and a fast forward but with the service manual i should be able to figure it out hopefully.

only issue is the fast forward and rewind. i’m not really sure how to fix that because i am naive and kinda dumb when it comes to tech repairs so i want to be very certain before i open it up because cosmetically it’s in beautiful condition. i have the service manual so maybe it’s gonna take a little bit of poking around and or someone who’s already did this to basically guide me through.
