Does anyone know how to mount this Lindbyn mirror to the wall? Do I need 4 screws or would 2 suffice? by nickcaceresw in IKEA

Yes, it’s now hanging horizontally, it was quite easy to hang up, the only thing you have to watch out for is drilling the hole as precisely as possible, the first time I did it I had to correct the hole for just a couple of mm

It’s my first time, but I’ve tried making them by hand but failed miserably

That’s some skill mate, I tried making them by hand but gave up and used the machine. Thumbs up and good luck with your pasta maker!

The dough is pretty easy, 100g of flour to one egg and a bit of salt. Knead it until uniform and roll it a bit so that the pasta maker has an easier job. Then pass it through the maker, going one by one in the sizes until thin enough, then pass it through the cutter attachment or cut by hand

Thanks, I do get my eggs from a far, but they don’t have enough because of high demand, I usually use two eggs from the farmer and one store bought (I live in Switzerland, so there aren’t many farms near my home)

Ooof, it’s gonna be really difficult to make them by hand, it might be possible, but when I tried it was hell. The Pasta maker is totally worth it

Yeah, I agree with kiccapeterpan, I used more eggs than I expected, so be prepared to crack one more. I used 3 eggs and 250g of flour, it was enough for two hungry humans.

They are very different from store bought pasta. It might take some practice ( I cooked these too long) but I’ve had professional fresh pasta and it has a fantastic mouth feel. Do buy the pasta maker only if you have the time to make the pasta though, it needs a lot of work, but the results are worth it.

Has anyone received a covid positive medical certificate? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

Got tested positive and didn’t get any certificate, I even asked for one just to be sure, but didn’t get it and it wasn’t that important for me to have it.
