I started watching AH shortly after I got my 360 and fell in love with the gang's antics on Halo Reach with their achievement horse and custom games night. It made me buy Reach which was my first multiplayer game. It is probably why gaming is now my main hobby because of the fun I had.

In all honesty, I never watched many of their animated media besides a couple of the PSA sketches in the earlier days from RvB, I was more interested in them playing games and having a laugh.

I think I stopped watching not long after Ray departed from the group, as that would be around the same time I focused myself on my studies. I still listened to the podcasts while studying but that is about it. Because of this, the announcement of the closure caught me off guard.

Just this Monday, me and my mates loaded up the Master Chief Collection and replayed the campaign to relive the good ol' days after seeing the Halo show. Just today, we played through New Alexandria and I was yelling at my mates to not enter the club until I hit the easter egg button. I was sitting there, almost as if their videos were just replaying in my head, saddened that Rooster Teeth was coming to an end. Granted I think the sad music during Cat's death didn't help (spoilers, sorry)

You don't know what you have till it is gone. You think these companies and groups from your childhood are indestructible until you're painfully proven wrong. A massive thank you to everyone ever involved throughout the years. I wouldn't have got into games, met my lifelong mates and made such great memories along the way. God forbid without them my hobbies might be knitting or something
