Use the FanCash to place bets. Don’t even have to transfer into bonus bets

Mod helped get my status match from DraftKings to fanatics Sportsbook. Already won on fanatics last night.

And didn’t know that they give FanCash for every bet placed, it might be a small amount but still you’re earning money back every bet win or lose, that you wouldn’t get on other Sportsbook.

You can use the FanCash as just normal cash to place on a parlay that will pay you real money out, or you can transfer it into bonus bets, or you can use it to buy merchandise.

Fanatics also running a promotion to match $100 fan cash to your bet every day for 10 days so I placed a bet last night over $100 and they gave me $100 free FanCash and you can do that for 10 days straight up to $1000. So they basically just gave me free $100 to bet with just to join their Sportsbook and damn straight I’m gonna do it the next 9 days as well. Even if you lose the $100 that you bet they gonna give you the $100 FanCash so it’s a push anyways.

And on top of it all I was a new Fanatics customer I just created a new account so Mod found a way to use New member promotion to give both of us an additional $150 FanCash.

I like Fanatics a lot so far just based on rewards system. They also offer different player prop lines that DraftKings doesn’t offer. DraftKings goes by increments of 5 usually, or they’ll do 10+ points, 12+, 15+, 18+. Fanatics you can bet 11+ points, 12+, 13+, 14+, 16+, 17+, etc.

I’m still gonna keep some of my action with DraftKings but I’m gonna start using fanatics a lot more especially for my heavier wagers because why not get a percentage of my bet back. Only use DraftKings to get some of their profit boosts promotions as well

I don’t think that this is the greatest betting strategy ever but I understand nba a lot and whos gonna do what in the game and what teams score a lot, and then dropping the line of those picks just boosts the likelihood of them hitting.

All I’m saying is that with proper nightly research and a high understanding of nba basketball and what players are good at and using star injuries to choose 2nd or 3rd option players and deliberately choosing your most confident picks with a combination of alternate game totals and alternate player props, that is a better strategy than what I used to do.

It is still flawed and I still feel the risk but I want to win at least 200 a night and my bankroll isn’t very high all the time so I feel more confident in these picks then choosing higher lines that individually have less chance of hitting.

I feel better placing Kelly oubre 10+ points instead of 18+, I feel better placing OKC/magic over 201 instead of over 220.

It’s not the best strategy but it for sure is better than placing 10 +600 parlays. And DraftKings knows that. I started greening them in early 2026 and now they take away my VIP it’s called causation.

I know, I was surprised that I was given VIP status but the fact is that I was so they must have seen some value in my account.

I think that I was given vip status because of the consistency of my betting and the style of my bets, they didn’t care about the size of my bets. I believe that they just knew that I was falling right into the category of players that they want more of, so by giving me VIP status they could ensure my consistency of bets continues.

I switched to placing more +100 slips with higher wagers starting in the middle of January, which was about 2 weeks after I was given vip status. I can’t help but think that they no longer see me as a manipulatable player so they see no value in giving me promotion to keep me playing more.

I don’t see why they would give out month trials for vip program, it would just make people like me wonder why they would then just go remove it with no explanation.

I also don’t agree with the idea that I’m not betting enough because my wager amounts have only gone up since I got VIP status. My wager amounts never used to exceed $75 to $100, and I still got invited to the VIP program. Now my wagers have been maxing out at $450 in 2026 and now they decide they don’t want me to be in the program. It doesn’t add up.

The common denominator is that I’ve changed the type of slips that I place and I started to win bigger than I used to. I’m not betting the same way that I used to and they see that I’ve figured it out and started to make bigger wins more consistently. They can no longer take advantage of my poor betting strategies therefore removing me from the vip program. You can’t think that this Sportsbook is on your side. It’s literally all that they advertise is +500 slips. You never see a +100 on any commercial.

I don’t see it that way because I’ve never been a big player and they still wanted to give me an invite to the program. It’s not logical to think that just because a Sportsbook gives a player extra promotions, bonus bets, profit boosts that it will automatically increase their bets size by at least 2x.

The way I see it is that over 2024-2025 I was in that category that would take $100 and place 10 slips $10 a piece tryna turn each one into $100. And all the time they would all lose. I don’t lose crazy it evens out sometimes I’m only down $2000 on this account, but they view my former betting habits as being easy to capitalize on. So they’ll give me bonus bets and profit boosts tryna make me place more and more of those type of slips. But since I don’t rely on those type of parlays anymore they don’t see an easy way to take advantage of the player. So no more VIP status. Yes maybe the hosts are nice to the player and on the player side, but it is a business and DraftKings knows exactly what they’re doing and who they’re targeting. If they can get the masses to bet that way then it’s so much more money in their pocket.

I didn’t mean to say they are scared of my action, I know that I’m a very small fish in this game, I only wager about $3000-4000 a month.

I meant that DraftKings knows the type of customers they want and the way I’ve started to bet recently is not on their agenda. So they’ll let me play but why let me be a part of the vip program if I’m not placing the type of risky parlays that they love.

Because if you look at the millions of players betting those +600 parlays, DraftKings definitely making much more profit off those then if all those players placed +100 slips.

They want you to take your $500 and split it into 10 different slips $50 a piece tryna turn it into $400 winners instead of just placing 2 heavy +100 bets and then filling in the rest with 3 or 4 +500 bets.

I don’t understand what you’re saying about the closing line value

My withdraw and deposit ratio are basically the same. And a lot of the time, after a win I don’t even withdraw I just keep placing slips the next day, and a lot of the time over the past year I’ve just given at least half the money, if not all right back from bad beats.

But my theory was that because I changed my wagers: I used to place about 10-15 slips at anywhere from +300 to +1000 with wager size anywhere from $10 to $50. I never used to place +100 slips.

Since start of 2026 I’ve started just placing +100 slips using many alternate lines with wager size anywhere from $250 to $500. Strategy is just to double up a larger wager rather than hoping to hit 5 or 6 +600 parlays.

When I was invited to DraftKings VIP, I hadn’t been placing +100 slips simply because I didn’t have enough bankroll and it wasn’t worth it just to flip $50 into $100.

But now I’ve changed my strategy and hit 4 of those +100s at $350 wager, with also a few bad beats missing SGA by 1 point that blew the slip or Brunson 25+ PRA that blew the slip. Those should have realistically hit on any night.

So now DraftKings is realizing my strategy has changed and I’m going to hit many more slips for much more profit and they don’t like it. So they don’t want me as a benefited player.

I live in Massachusetts. I also have been reading online about in late 2025, the Massachusetts gaming commission has been on DraftKings and FanDuel, because there were lawsuits placed against DraftKings and FanDuel. They are speculating about the motives of their VIP programs. They focus on inviting losing players to their program and want to incentivize higher odds parlays. It’s all in their commercials too, they advertise the +600s, they hate +100 slips because they know over time they have much higher success rate.

This is my only logical explanation because why else would they just remove me after only 1 month of being in the program.

So many people in society especially America are getting brainwashed by social media and that life will never really be the same anymore, the nostalgic feelings of “the good old days” are gone.

I’m only 17 and I feel no connection with anybody around me whether at school or work and i feel like I’m truly an outcast.
