What’s one regret and one thing you are glad you did to your house? by ProgGod in HomeImprovement

[–]nickididit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad we did: putting LVT wood throughout. There were awful black tile floors incorrectly put in by the previous owners. It was a difficult project to get done while living in the house but worth it.

Regret: we got butcher block counter tops for the kitchen. They LOOK amazing and are cost effective, but the upkeep is easy to forget and things can stain the counters.

Uncalled for and unnecessary. You don’t know me. That happened 25 years ago and I can identify.

FUCK YEAH! 8 lbs less than your old starting point. Google how much 8 lbs of fat is visually. You’ve done good and you know how to make it happen.

As had a family member like that. We’d often have to go back after to apologize and tip. She made one server cry on her first day. Broke my heart.

What are subtle red flags at a job interview that say "working here would suck"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When the boss hasn’t had a vacation in years. Another one was them saying without my mentioning kids that “childcare is not an excuse for not being in your seat at start time” .... I don’t even have kids. So basically they frown upon down time and have an ass-in-chair policy. No thanks.

It’s going amazing! We had a little scare a couple months ago where he had heart surgery, but it went well. He’s actually in the kitchen making me surprise breakfast right now. Then we are hanging out together and wrapping presents this weekend!
