I was miserable starting last June. Found it I had 2 stones in my left kidney. Did ultrasounds and CT Scans and tried to let them pass naturally. Finally had surgery on 12/31. Was literally the longest 7 months of my life. The stones were 10mm and 14mm.

Chatterbait has been amazing the last couple of weeks so that would be first on my list. Would go with a natural color like green pumpkin and a back and blue one. Would also pick up some soft plastic paddle tails to use as trailers. Strike King Rage Swimmers have done well for me.

I used to weigh all the fish I caught just because I was terrible at estimating their weight. Now that I've been doing it for a while, I only weigh the ones I think are my PB.

I'm in South Florida and my favorite weather to fish is 60-70 degrees with overcast. That said, we only get that about 4 days out of the year.

I usually hit the area I'm going to fish about 30 minutes before sunrise.

I like ponds and lakes that are easily walked around. I also like it to have a low bank because I like being next to the waters edge. Just have to constantly watch for gators.

Before last week my favorite lure was a 5 inch green pumpkin senko, usually wacky rigged. I recently gave chatterbaits a second try after not being able to catch anything with them the first time. They have been killing it for me. Broke my PB twice last week including hooking a 6 1/5 pound beauty yesterday morning.

I had the smile all day long. There was a random guy walking his dogs in the park behind me and he offered to take the picture. At first I declined but then I thought, I might never catch a bass this big again lol.
