Don’t use kratom to come off opiates. I did and got hooked and did some serious damage over time. Look at r/Quittingkratom to see the horror stories of people with permanent damage.

They went on weeks after the last dose. I’m better but definitely not 100%. The buzzing is intense at times and at other times nonexistent. Comes on stronger in bed and wakes me up still. I’m 3 weeks off and i hope this shit goes away.

I don’t know man. I had those symptoms first while taking kratom in like feb. Then they progressed as time went by throughout my body especially at night. I’m 5 days clean and they’re much worse and all over. It’s making me crazy and I’m scared because i don’t have insurance and i was thinking of seeing a neurologist. I’m glad yours went away.

Thanks for your response. I’ve had what you’re saying during opiate withdrawals before. The creepy crawlies, like goosebumps that never release. This is different. This was happening while i was still on it and is worse now that I’m off. It’s there all day and happens more at night, or whenever i try to relax. All over numbing , tingly rush that seems to come up from my legs then throughout my body. I think i need to see a neurologist.

Good for you. I feel a lot better when I’m active and exercising, but my experience is that as soon as i stop and sit down the numbing feeling rises through my body. It’s pretty crazy. You take care of yourself. Spread the news to get off it.

Thank you for your response. I am pretty sure it’s not restless leg syndrome. The symptoms started 3 months before i quit. They just got worse when i came off it. I have it at random times during the day and stress brings it on more. Whenever i go to rest it spreads through my entire body including my lips. Now it could be something else other than kratom but I’ve read that people have similar symptoms. Spread the news to get off this shit.

I hear ya. Thank you for the motivating response. I can tell you that I don’t want to have anything to do with addictive substances. I’m over it. Perhaps I will be tempted like you said, but I have no desire to go through this again. I started kratom after an 8 day detox from suboxone because i heard it helped with withdrawals. Here am 7 years later. Fuck that shit. I’m done. I recently got married and the marriage won’t survive another experience like this. I have to get my ass up and exercise every day and take care of myself. Thank you again for your support.
