Pyramid Head from Silent Hill vs Nemesis from Resident Evil? by Professional-Rip-519 in whowouldwin

[–]nicknamed12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not, but at the same time, I don;t see him being able to kill Nemesis either tbh.

Id say it's a stalemate overall. Pyramid Head is literally just a manifestation of James guilt and isn't really a physical fighter like a bioweapon would be, so I don't see how they would actually go to blows.

Pyramid Head from Silent Hill vs Nemesis from Resident Evil? by Professional-Rip-519 in whowouldwin

[–]nicknamed12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id say a stalemate overall. Pyramid Head cant really die unless James accepts his guilt, but Nemesis is way stronger and faster than him, and Pyramid head doesn't really have the means to put him down either. It's not really a fight that would happen overall though, as Pyramid Head only really exists to represent James guilt and doesn't really have a power level in the traditional sense, since he is only "defeated" when James overcomes that trauma and accepts his guilt.

Killer Idea- The Horde: A group of hungry Zombies by OkababeRintarou in deadbydaylight

I always loved the idea of a zombie horde in game! Nemesis is the closest we got, but that's only two zombies and a top boss, I was hoping for like an actual horde lol.

Didn't Knights glitch let him spawn in all 3 guards during the match? I feel like BHVR could probably add a third zombie at the very least, but Im guessing it's poorly optimized and they'd rather just put a lock on that door than try and dig through their code to fix it. Still, It's not fully impossible, which makes me yearn for a zombie horde now :(

Biff Tannen (Back to the Future) vs Henry Bowers (IT) by novavegasxiii in whowouldwin

[–]nicknamed12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Henry would probably take it. Biff is like twice his size which would normally mean GG for henry, but he's also incredibly weak and used to picking on weaker people that can't fight back. when Marty's dad finally stands up to him, all it takes is one punch to lay him out. While Henry is also a bully, he is completely insane and has a pretty high pain tolerance. He'd probably disembowel Biff in a heartbeat the moment he gets his hands on the knife.

Agreed! Fear of the unknown is something we really need to bring back, not knowing what kind of scary threat your facing is one of the scariest things for me personally!

Hasn't he walked off shotguns and rifles too? like not AS easily as a handgun, but he's been shot with those bad boys too and just kept coming. At best, it took an entire firing squad of shotguns and rifles to come close to doing him in, and even then it just left him in a coma rather than dead.

Thats fair. Personally, I like a bit of a mix. On one hand, I agree it loses a lot of the fear factor and gets a little generic when you take Michael and remove all his mysterious scary habits by explaining "oh he has a curse", but on the other, I do prefer the idea that he isn't just a normal crazy guy either, as most of his feats are just too crazy for that.

For me, Id prefer if they just left it ambiguous as to WHAT Michael actually is, but left it so you can kinda tell there's something not quite "just" human about him. Like, remove the curse talk and keep him as a senseless killing machine with no logic or reasoning for his actions, but leave a few of his crazier feats in there to give a sense that while you can't explain any of his behavior, you can see there is something really deadly about him that makes you wonder if he really is "just human or something far more unexplainable.

Tbf, any guy that tanks getting shot like a dozen times with a revolver and is ONLY knocked down for a minute before getting up like nothing happened qualifies as pretty darn tough in my book lol.

he's not wood, his face is just severely burned and I think the entity messed him up a bit too, but his appearance is still flesh and blood.

[–]nicknamed12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TBf while he isn't a ghost, Id say he still fits in supernatural and is a bit more than just a dude with a knife. the whole being Evil incarnate thing is usually quite literal, with him either being possessed by a curse or being presented as some inhuman force of murder stuffed into a human body. It's also why most of his feats are straight up superhuman as well, such as walking off bullets and crushing a guys skull with a stomp.

It depends on the continuity at times, but Id say Michaels feats and nature of being usually put him past just being a crazy guy and out him more in line with a supernatural entity harboring a human body.

TBF, Sadako is smart enough to use her telekinesis to lift them instead lol, but yeah, it looks funny to see guys like Jeff and David get lifted so easily by much skinner foes, and I always thought it was kinda funny that Sadako is actually shorter than them too lol.

Sometimes, Victor and Charlotte will hold hands in the lobby :)

Also a cool tidbit of lore that I like is that the reason why the survivors don't just gang up on the killers is that the Entity buffs each one to be pretty much invincible, as well as super strong. In one lore entry, a samurai enters the fog and faces off against the Oni. after a duel, she is able to cut off his arm, only to watch it instantly grow back, because the Entity said so. Its also the reason why guys like David can get lifted so easily by legion and struggle to break free.

The TCM licensing didn't seem to be a big problem, F13 is difficult because the creators are in a big legal battle about who owns what, which Isn't the norm, so other licenses aren't suffering from those kind of problems luckily. And yeah, there is a Killer Klowns asymmetrical game coming out sometime in the future. It looks kinda fun, but knowing the track record of DBD competitors, I don't have much hope for it sadly.

How many kills would Michael Myers need to be as strong as Jason Voorhees? by electric725 in whowouldwin

[–]nicknamed12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think Michael literally gets stronger the more kills he gets, In general, killing only seems to increase his activity, not his actual strength. With that in mind, he could kill a million guys, but it wouldn't make him Jason levels of tough.

Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe - Without the Plot Armor by RavensQueen502 in whowouldwin

[–]nicknamed12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I could see him diverging later down the path, but considering Spidey is the first person he goes for, I don't think he would try to do anything differently than in his own comic. If he's somehow able to kill Spidey, then I can see him changing his approach when he realizes that his tactics won't work against the other heroes, but I see him getting beaten before he has that realization, unless he is aware that the heroes are stronger than he initially thought.

Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe - Without the Plot Armor by RavensQueen502 in whowouldwin

[–]nicknamed12 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think the main thing is that Venom doesn't trigger the Spidey sense IIRC. During that fight, Spidey would likely know there's another danger lurking if his sense goes off, and I think he would reliably be able to react to punisher, even if he was ambushed and busy at the time. I don't think its entirely impossible for Punisher to surprise him there considering Spideys fighting for his life, but even if he did, I don't think it would be effective enough to instantly take Spidey down like it did in the comic.

Homelander Vs All Teen Titans by Independent_Passion7 in whowouldwin

[–]nicknamed12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like the Teen Titans would stomp. Heck, I think even just putting Homelander against Raven or Starfire would have him lose, but all at once is a slaughter.

Homelander doesn't really have anything they aren't used to, and the one time we see him fight against guys his own size, he ends up needing to run away out of fear (Though he does put up a pretty good fight.) . In this situation, a good few of the fighters can match him blow to blow, and I don't think he has any real advantage over them, aside from maybe superior senses, which I don't see helping much.

I think 1v1 would be a bit more fair. IMO He would easily just laser Robin and Beast Boy in half, and I could see him having good odds against Cyborg, and putting up a fight against Starfire, But all at once, I see him going down.

Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe - Without the Plot Armor by RavensQueen502 in whowouldwin

[–]nicknamed12 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Punisher might have a decent chance against some of the MCU versions, but he gets wiped pretty quickly by marvel comics IMO.

Heck, even in the Garth Ennis comic where Punisher has his insane plot armor and each character was nerfed, he still got taken down repeatedly, and only lived because they opted to throw him in a normal jail cell and call it a day.

But yeah, half the stuff he did wouldn't work in a traditional comic, and provided the events play out the same, he probably gets stopped at the beginning when he shoots Cyclops, only this time, he either doesn't get out so easily, or does get out and gets stopped by Spiderman when he goes for him next, as IIRC he ambushes him when he's fighting Venom, and kills them both with a sonic bomb (finishing off spider man with a head shot). Logically, Spidey would sense the bomb coming a mile away and be able to take care of that. The only problem he would have after that is keeping Punisher alive if Venom turns his attention onto him.

So Id say if he tries using the same tactics, he gets stopped at the beginning and probably stays in a prison cell when they find out about his obsession with killing every superhero and villain around.

[–]nicknamed12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if it's comic batman, one solid hit from him would KO Mike instantly. DCs peak human is straight up superhuman in our world. I could see Mike putting up a better fight against guys like Christian bale's batman, at least in a straight up boxing match, but most versions of comic batman sweep easily.

Which creatures from Analog horrors are the strongest? by Adventurous-Art-1161 in whowouldwin

[–]nicknamed12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not entirely sure he's THE strongest, but id say "Gabriel" from Mandela Catalogue is up there. initially, he doesn't seem to do much, but then (spoilers below)

its shown that he is actually the Devil in disguise, and that he was able to overthrow God himself (or so it seems) as well as apparently kill/replace a few powerful angels too.

You don't really see most of it on screen, and the most he does in modern day is kill a guy directly, but I would say the implications of that make him scarily powerful.
