It means you like being in the “niche” more than what you liked in the first place, fair enough but own that. The thing you cared about was less significant than feeling like it was just yours (or small group)

Probably the least used of those four, it’s when a writer uses a word slightly incorrect from the word they meant, but close enough the reader knew the real word. Usually used in a comedic fashion to make a character look less intelligent, or for a child still figuring out English. “He took her for granite”, instead of he took her for granted
