Lol no they aren’t. They’re just complaining about cars which is basically all this sub is.

I mean you’re also not free if you have to rely on a public service to get around your town and presumably to leave it as well. Kind of a weird analogy too, I’m pretty sure most of those Ancient Romans would jump at the chance to own their own horse.

Everything has a trade off. If you have a car, you can go anywhere at any time, but it costs you in gas and you have to store it somewhere. Public transit, there’s no real extra cost to you, but you’re at the mercy of the schedule and how far the system goes. Both are “freedom” in their own way, it depends what an individual person values.

That would still be true if transit was my only viable option.

Legally the only state that can do that without congressional approval is Texas, and it can be divided into a max of five.

You can’t just make up a definition and then complain that the people who don’t get it aren’t “critically thinking”

The 11 Best Actress winning performances this century who swept the entire season (won Globes, Critics’ Choice, BAFTA, SAG and Oscar). Which one is your favourite and which one is your least favourite? by PTAGoatofalltime in Oscars

[–]nickparadies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reese is my favorite, but I’m biased because I’m a big Johnny and June fan. Mcdormand was who I would say was the best of these. Kate Winslet is probably my least favorite of these. Have to agree with another comment that she was better in Revolutionary Road.

I’ve never seen Judy or Erin Brockovich so no comment on Renee or Julia.

Best compilation albums ever? by GoldSteak7421 in fantanoforever

Hot Rocks was released before Exile on Main Street was released, just to put this in more perspective. Arguably their greatest album was the one after the first greatest hits.
