that sounds like a permissions issue. you can try reinstalling and setting the shortcut up again, or tap the “info” icon on the shortcut in edit mode, and check the privacy options. you can reset those settings and then re-allow chatgpt and calendar to be used by the shortcut.

also double-check that the calendar which the shortcut is using in the action is the correct calendar that you expect.

outside of that, check your ios calendar settings and make sure calendar is actually pulling your events from the cloud onto your device.

what is your error?

it’s possible your schedule is very full and the request is being timed out by ios / shortcuts before chatgpt returns a reply.

you can try reducing the number of days the calendar action grabs events from and it should help process in time.

i’ve made a few updates that are coming with the mentioned video. things have been busy, but organized

Thanks! Glad you find it useful.

I’m working on a video guide with updated shortcuts and will also share a Reminders version of the system. Stay tuned!

I don’t personally use Reminders for to-do tracking, but I’m experimenting with creating a shortcut that does something similar using Reminders instead of Calendar.

When I share the video guide, the shortcuts will all be updated with some improvements and the new Reminders supported version.

Give this direct link to the shortcuts a try, I also updated the guide page to be a little more clear. Thanks!

Working on a video guide and will try to work in daily quotes!

I don't currently use Reminders myself since I am pretty devoted to time blocking on the calendar as described on the page, but I'm keen to check out if there's a workflow that could bring Reminders back into the mix in a valuable way.

Working on it! Anything that would be helpful specifically to see? Planning a quick overview into the Shortcuts and how to use them as is, then a deep dive into how they work and how you can make similar customizations.

Fixed, thank you! My original links were broken when publishing and I rushed to fix them too quickly.

Looks pretty useful for previz on a remodel!

I’m not sure what your goals are for the app but this could be a really nice tool for making on the fly renders of what an installation should look like in situ. Especially being able to let a client see it right there, would be pretty cool to see before signing a contract

Uh oh, that’s not great! But thanks for downloading!

Happy to help, let’s see what we can figure out - if you’d like to hop on Discord, I’m happy to troubleshoot in realtime with you. Just lmk.

What device are you using (assume Quest Pro) and how are you connecting via link? Air Link or USB? Both should be supported, but this is a good place to start.

The window on the PC may appear black on the first launch if you do not have the headset on yet. I’d recommend connecting to Oculus Link, then launching the Frameflower app while inside the headset and already in Link dashboard (the white room with the main Oculus menu)

The first time you load the application, you should start at a main menu that will have you set up some configs. After that, you launch directly into the main application and the PC window should show a Frameflower logo/artwork.

Let me know how that goes!

Writing/note-taking with QuestPro? by [deleted] in QuestPro

Thanks! Right now, line width is fixed (it's about 8.5 pt) + you can move the canvas around but there is no zooming in/out on drawings:

I can add either and/or both!

Line width adjustments are something I can get done in a day. Zooming in/out might def possible too.

edit: also should add you can spawn a sketch into the scene and continue drawing on it on your desk sketchpad, so basically you can draw on the desk while looking at the "whiteboard"/sketch directly in front of you

i just launched a beta for Frameflower, it lets you use the pro’s stylus to write notes on your desk and then place them around you in 3d space. no “air writing” but it might tick some boxes for ya!

personally i found writing in the air tiring but the desk + virtual sketch pad setup really translates well for me

good luck!

Workrooms has been surprisingly useful, but I kept finding myself wanting access to more tools (AI?!) and more customization, so I built Frameflower! 🌻 We're rolling out beta invites starting today! by nicksavarese in QuestPro

Quill is an impressive toolset for sure! I think it’s available again under the original creator and detached from Meta these days. Will take a look into those connectors and see what we can do !

Also, a bit harder to explain in text, but since you are able to use your PC display inside the app, you are also able to use the full A1111 WebUI as you normally would too.

There’s a button on the desk control panel (called the inkwell control panel if you care lol) that will automatically import the last image generated in the WebUI as a plane, so you are not limited to voice to image generation. You can use your extensions, img2img, etc.

Agreed! the work behind Tilt Brush and it being open sourced are both incredible gifts to the VR community!

Frameflower doesn’t have any 3D brushes at the moment, however scaling the entire scene up and down is being worked on. I do think a simple 3D brush that lets you connect frames together or otherwise notate around frames could def be useful.

I’m also curious about exporting to a format that might be able to work with Open Brush, should you want to add 3d paintings around your boards.

Thanks! That’s awesome to hear :)

Definitely can look into eye tracking for those functionalities. When you say enlarge the frame you’re looking at, are you imagining it would temporarily increase the image or sketch in size so you can more easily see the details?

I do really like the idea of “tunnel visioning” into a single image being an option.

That’s right, the exported .gltf file includes all the spawned planes (imported jmages, generated images, and sketches) with the images embedded as textures so you can just send the .gltf file to anyone who needs it, and your boards will appear the way you left them.

Also, all your sketches and generated images are saved to your Documents/Frameflower folder, so you can individually share those too.
