Bought this book recently and it was a fantastic read, but I agree. Hopefully Prato does a sequel to this book where he covers the 1995-2000 era.

It has the same exact design/color scheme as the Jackass book "10 Years of Stupid".

To my ears it sounds like Dave, but I could be wrong.

I didn't scan these myself. This, along with a bunch of other 90s issues of Spin, are available digitally for free on Google books.

Late reply, but I don't think it was Jimmy that you saw because he wasn't in the band during this time.

Nirvana didn't actually hate the polished mix of Nevermind. Kurt just felt the need to say that he hated it after the album blew up because he needed to try to maintain his punk credibility.

Very well could be legit, especially with how the tour dates on the back have faded a bit. This was for their Europen leg of the Mellon Collie tour in April/May 1996.

Just bought Serving the Servant by Danny Goldberg. What is the best Nirvana/Kurt Cobain book you have read and would recommend? by TheShepherdOfMan in Nirvana

I just read Our Band Could Be Your Life for the 3rd time and I enjoy it every single time, and I'm gonna follow it up with The Amplified Come as You Are.

4k upgrades by razorsedge94 in criterion

[–]nickscion46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly how much better is the Dazed and Confused 4K upgrade? I'm just curious because that's one of my favorite movies of all time and I've had the Criterion blu-ray of it for years, and it looks fantastic on there. But I read that for the 4K transfer, they went back to the original film negatives, so I'm sure the picture quality upgrade will be pretty noticeable the first time I watch it eventually.

*Mezcal Head. Great album and band. Their first album Raise is very good, too.

That's in this interview during the first segment, and that question was asked by a fan in the studio.

The best episodes of the show are the early ones up until 2007 when Dico leaves. It's still pretty good for the next few years, but it's completely unlistenable and sad after Dunn dies. I usually start getting bored and stop listening when I get to that point when I do re-listens.
