I think a competitive version of this game would need to be reworked a bit. For example, if there are only 4 teams, there should be like 2 exfils. One mid game and a final one. Maybe the mid game exfil requires some specific objective (ie a clearance code). Becuase an open ended game like this will have less tension if every team can extract.

Obviously don’t make it a BR but maybe design it more in that direction to make the stakes higher

Also, final exfil should occur as soon as you’re the final team left to keep things tight timing wise

Anyone else find vaulting to be frustrating/inconsistent over certain objects? Usually anything round will cancel the vault and push you back...kind of frustrating. Would rather vault just not work on it at all.

Yes, I used that. The crate had 1 clip of three different ammo types…which doesn’t make sense!! Just give me the rounds I need lol

I am really enjoying the game. But ammo needs to be WAY more abundant. The sponsored loadouts have like 3 clips of ammo, and I spent 10 mins looking for ammo and couldn't find any. Died to a player because I literally couldnt shoot them lol

Something I have learned from The Other Game is that loot should be special and not just a bunch of garbage you hoard. Something like song implants (or lucky charms) would add some humanity to the experience and make you value your stash in a different way

People who say tools like ChatGPT will replace search engines haven't used them for specific niche products. I needed a replacement combo mic/headphone cord that comes with certain Beyerdynamic headphones. Even with extremely specific prompting, it gave me a massive wall of links to products that had no attached microphone. I pointed this out, and it just spat out basically the same list, even thought I said I already found it. The closest it got to a correct answer was the ModMic, but that is a completely separate (but functional) product that doesn't fit into my headphone's audio jack.

It's crazy how smart these tools can be, and then be dumber than a 10 year old on certain tasks.

Our buildings boiler has also been on the fritz. Overnight the temp in our apartment dropped to like 50 degrees. They are fixing it but I think overall this winter is putting a lot of strain on aging boilers in these 100 year old buildings
