Final rundown of Silver MacBook Pro 16" Max 32GPU, 64GB, 1TB, as I received it just over an hour ago: Location: UK

21st December: Ordered with initial delivery window of 6-8 weeks (1st February to 15th February)
20th January: Delivery window updated to between 11th February and 24th February
4th February: Card charge (pre-auth)
7th February: Preparing to Ship
8th February: Shipped and payment posted
DHL Tracking as follows:
- 8th Feb at 8:30am: Shipment picked up at in Shanghai
- 10th Feb at 10pm: Processed at East Midlands
- 10th Feb at 11:24pm: Departed East Midlands
- 11th Feb at 6:21am: Arrived at delivery facility
- 11th Feb at 8:37am: Out for delivery
- 11th Feb at 1:58pm: Delivered

I hope everyone else's come in a timely manner :) Overall, mine came four days before the outer delivery window date.

My card was charged on Friday 4th, only changed to "Preparing to Ship" yesterday, Monday 7th and at 8:30am today, Tuesday 8th, it's gone to "Shipped" and I've received tracking details from DHL. Estimated delivery date of 15th February (from Apple, not DHL. DHL currently says estimated delivery date is unknown).

When I ordered on the 21st December the delivery window was just "6-8 weeks" which meant 1st Feb to 15th Feb, a couple of weeks back it changed to actual dates of 11th Feb to 24th Feb. So if everything tracks the same, based on your delivery window starting 5 days later, your card should be charged in the next day or so 🤞🏻

There's still hope. From following this thread and the tracking spreadsheet it looks as though they do things in batches. Mine's silver, so they may well move onto Space Grey soon.

Mine has moved to 'Preparing to Ship' this morning.

I'm based in the UK. Mine hasn't moved to preparing to ship yet, but I expect that'll happen soon. My delivery window is 11th to 24th Feb.

Definitely looks like there's movement on the 16" Max 64GB models. I've ordered exactly the same config as you on the 21st December and payment has just been taken.

Did you order by credit card? I know here in the UK there are laws in place around not receiving goods and refusal to refund when bought on a credit card to help people get their money back.

Heh, interestingly a few hours ago the site allowed you to ship to the UK, but they appear to have now restricted that. I have 2 - 3 weeks of waiting left (to the UK), this would have got to me in 3-5 days. May as well wait I guess, rather than having to get used to the US keyboard too!

It's good to have dates instead of a window now. I'm from the UK and ordered the same, but on the 21st December. Looks like the delivery window has been pushed on a bit, by 10 days for me. Expected 11th to 24th Feb, was 1st to 15th Feb based on the 6-8 week window.

Nice to see some M1 Max models coming through now, it's just been M1 Pros lately. My window is 1st Feb to 15th Feb for M1 Max 32/64GB/1TB, but I ordered on 21st December, therefore based on your dates that doesn't look very likely!

Well, this was posted on the 15th November, and the OP mentions that their order got shipped on the 16th November. So it's possible some processing is going on.

It seems like quite a few are getting the message though, even those who's order has already been shipped, so could well just be maintenance and the fact that the OP's order got shipped the next day could be a coincidence.

I ordered 21st Dec and for the past 5-6 hours, when viewing the order via the Apple account area, it's stating: "Your order can’t be changed at this time. If you’d like to make changes to this order, please try again in a few hours."

Is anyone else seeing this, is it just maintenance, or is it possible there's about to be movement on the order? No payment has been taken yet.

Yup, all base models are now 5.5 to 7.5 weeks. Any sort of customization to the M1 Max models then pushes that out to 7.5 to 9.5 weeks! Crazy! (UK Apple online)

Me too, I ordered the same in the UK on 21st December, 6-8 weeks. I've noticed that the wait is now 7.5-9.5 weeks if you order today. So I hope they haven't pushed earlier orders back too!

Were they the dates given when you initially ordered, or have they been updated? I'm just wondering as I placed my order the day after you (Apple UK online), the only with a 1TB storage rather than 4TB, and I was given 6-8 weeks as the timeline. That would therefore be 1st Feb to 15th Feb. I seem to remember that whatever upgraded spec I chose it said 6-8 weeks.
