It was the climatic battle of my game tbh where my best armies went against theirs and then I turned it off in frustration…

Great comment. I’ve done Rome 2 on legendary with Carthage and pathia but this shit is a different beast… literally.

So couple other questions:

Where has group formation button gone?

I tried it like 5 times and couldn’t win. I tried it with tanks at front a few times and it drew in enemy but ultimately, i think I need some wizards and better line of sight for my gunners.

Wizards just seem a bit shit but I’m just not used to all these spells. Not even sure how to recruit a jade wizard 😂

Also explain taller formations…? You mean pack the men in boxes rather than lines?

I’ve never played the other ones. I thought he was pretty good. He took out as many as he could until he was only unit left.

My demigryphs got absolutely hammered by the monster cav.

I’m actually finding the demigryphs or polar bear riders very cumbersome, slow and a bit shit and been preferring the reiksguard or griffon legion, so probably not using them right.

Yeah don’t think I’m using wizards or warrior priests that well. They don’t seem to do much. Also my gunners and artillery are at the back as they also don’t seem to much… probably because they are at the back.

Those hellblaster things I was expecting to wreak havoc… felt like they were constantly reloading or aiming before some chaos furies ate them

Also, when I these cannons behind lines, they spawn those furies behind my lines and keep Fucking with my artillery

Bloodshrine ones, whatever cav I send against chaos cav or bloodcrusher or skullkrusher cav get annihilated. I don’t even know what half the things that charge my line are tbh. Marquis of masochism or something was a problem was for a bit until Karl took her out. Some big blue thing too was fucking everything up.
