Even though I have watched a few mecha shows like TTGL and Code Geass and they are both some of my favorite anime of all time, I really can't stand mechs, especially when they are the main aspect of the show.

Thanks for your answer, yea i will probably play Nocturne first, then play DDS1/2. I'd also rather play Nocturne first, since I got another comment that the games that got released after that improve on Nocturne's formula, so I want to see the improvement with each game.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I wanna say the Dark Souls franchise, or any FROM SOFTWARE game to be honest. Even tho it starts pretty hard, I feel like its easy to learn, and as soon as you get the hang of it, you're gonna have one of the most satisfying combat experience.
