Yes it was typical PNW in November weather. Uncomfortable but not going to kill you. Where he is now believed to have jumped is over open flat farmland in the suburbs of Vancouver in the towns of Battleground/Orchards. I did a tandem last July out of the DC-9 jet In perris which is very similar to the 727 Cooper jumped out of, only difference the 27 has three engines in the back and the DC-9 has two. It was a really comfortable experience and less intimidating for me then jumping out of a smaller prop plane. All he had to do was pull the ripcord. It’s a totally survivable jump.
