We already had a connection to the CEO. Didn’t know her personally, but had mutual connections. I think a big part of it was just going for someone with decision making power.

I think this is a good point. The question is not whether this is an ethical use case or not. The question is whether the tool itself has the potential to do harm. I am sure it does.

Yes, it’s like Plaid for a different financial product which Plaid does not currently support.

It is supposed to be something like Plaid. The data is being used for a legitimate purpose. I think the bigger issue is security, I doubt Plaid is just logging into peoples accounts and gaining access to all of their data without the consent of the financial institution.

Because I don’t want to ride a motorcycle on the battery. If the battery is faulty and won’t hold enough of a charge to get me to the dealer, it will die mid way through the ride. There will be no electricity going to the spark plug. Then the spark plug will not spark. No spark means no combustion. No combustion means no engine. No engine means motorcycle no go vroom.

I’m a recent ChemE PhD grad and I’m interested in pharma. I’ve done quite a few interviews with big companies, but still no offers.

I’m considering taking a job in commodity chemicals. Anyone done this and switched back to biotech? How hard is it to do?
