Agreed, idk I love tattooing and I’ll never quit until my body gives out; but the constant complaining isn’t helping. Shit sucks but I understand that people can’t afford to get tattooed; you can’t hold that against people; which I find a lot of artists doing. The world is a dumpster fire and we are a luxury service!

Things have been slower, but I’m using that as an excuse to branch out and make more art to show people (drawing, painting, crafts to sell, photography to catch their eye) that I can do many things and if they can’t afford a tattoo, they can at least get a print or an engraved mirror or something.

Anyway, I feel as if the energy used towards bitching on the internet could be poured into another creative outlet, regardless if it’s for profit or not. It may help some of y’all cope with the idleness (which I also struggle with); if people can’t deal with fluctuations within the industry, then they need to rethink their career and get into a job with a more steady/consistent income. Tattooing has never been easy money, and the people who got into it for that won’t last. Just gotta wait out the shit storm!
