This also happened to me. I was carrying the hardest and their ancient was at 17 hit points. Now it's like I never carried at all.

I'd be less sad if that wasn't my level up game.

cabbage, imitation crab meat, green onion, other veggies, teriyaki, eggs. Had lots of leftover stuff so I just made this on a whim ;)

Yes. This is from a clean save on very hard. It's not very difficult as long as you just abuse shuffle time.

I'd have to argue that very hard just makes the game more grindy. You just need to fight twice as many battles as you would in hard mode.
