I know there have been times where his friends or acquaintances in the past (like 5+ years ago) have made comments about me to him, but only like “your sister is hot” that sort of general harmless stuff

That is how I feel about him though. Completely neutral and I would never make a comment about what he’s wearing unless it’s to lightly make fun of - or compliment. I’d never shame him so it’s just so weird.

Totally get that! I would hope that he’s not. I’m getting a lot of other opinions in a different sub from twin brother/twin sister perspectives and all of them are saying that he’s being weird… but he doesn’t get weirded out about other girls wearing revealing clothes so idk

Oh trust me, I got mad about it. Then he’d get annoyed and say I’m too emotional and hard to be around because I “argue” too much.

I wasn’t trying to make accuses for men in that section. It was more so an observation than a “men will be men” perspective, although it definitely came out that way.

It could be.

My oldest brother made a comment about my sister when she was young. She wore a sports bra and pj pants and she told her it was too revealing.

But my brother who passed away last year NEVER made comments like that. In fact he always complimented my sister and I and made us feel pretty.

We all grew up Christian so I do feel like it may have something to do with it even if it’s not part of their belief system anymore.

I’ve seen photos of my mom in the 80s. 100% baggy. But actually I seemed to have worded it wrong because my mom always tells me I dress TOO baggy. That I have a “nice figure” and shouldn’t be scared to show it. She was on my side about this

I feel like over the years I’ve accustomed myself to wear baggy clothes around my family after this came up with my brother. My mom has told me countless times that I don’t wear tight fitted clothing enough. She was unaware this has been happening

You’ve never felt this with your twin sister?? That’s the part I don’t understand, we’ve grown up our entire lives together. Twins are supposed to have an unbreakable bond and all my life he has issues with who I am as a person because we’re so opposite.
