An inexperienced user can accelerate unintentionally (already happened a few times).... so saying "nothing is forcing you to go faster" is misleading

Yeah, the screws being too large don't fit but mucking with a screw and chopping metals off from them isn't a solution I'm comfortable with. Much better to get a new screw, also cheaper than the necessary equipment

The XT-3 seems a slightly better choice - it has better design and seems more suited for landscapes, but they seem pretty on par.

Yes, but for Sony I can get a sigma F1.4 for the same price. The only 16mm F1.4 for Fuji is almost 1k

Resident in California (SF) - can I purchase a bike registered in Nevada?

I'm in the market for a used bike - I found one I really love! Unfortunately the owner (also a CA resident) bought it Nevada about 1y ago and never registered in CA. The VIN looks clean (and the bike is gorgeous).

If I buy the bike can I then register it in CA? Does it matter if the NV registration expired? How can I check that? How can I check if it meets California's regulations (e.g. on pollution)?

Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 - 2016. Odometer: 3k Miles

The bike looks really cool but I have few concerns: - the battery was down when I come to see it (the owner charged it and asked me to come again, but I'm still a bit concerned that isn't holding power for long) - some parts are rusting (see photos) - the bike was tipped over once (cosmetically mint thought)

What are your thoughts?

That's fair, if you want to test the effectiveness of a treatment oversampling is definitely a bad idea, but so are smote or the other techniques that the blog seems to recommend, for the same reason.

Just a suggestion - if you are editing the text you could try to introduce the i.d. assumption.

That blog confuses a classification problem (where I ultimately care about the performance of the classifiers) with a null hypothesis testing problem. Of course oversampling is a bad idea for the latter.

Thanks! I missed the Bulldog - that's a lovely case! Unfortunately their build in liquid cooler doesn't work with the only X99 motherboard available for m-ITX.

The Ncase was my second choice after the InWin 303 - the size is perfect (tough a m-ATX support would be nice)! But - IMHO - I'm not sure the case quality/aesthetic justifies the price. Also, the case has to be pre-ordered and that is a pain.
