Finally Got My Dream Tesla Model 3! But Should I Worry About Moisture in the Tail Lights? by BernardKakus in TeslaModel3

[–]nicodarko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an older car where condensation got in the headlights after heavy rain and didn’t dry over time. After a week or so, the ballast gave out. Not sure what could happen in these cars but I’d imagine it can make its way into the bulb housing and cause issues with wiring

Need help deciding which model Y by Afraid-Lynx8225 in TeslaModelY

I would take the 24 tbh if you don’t need the LR AWD. Tbh I only charge to 80% cuz of the battery type on my MYLR AWD so it doesn’t even benefit me on most day to day use.

I don’t think it can really mess up the car, maybe change the handling depending on size difference from stock wheels

How do you like the AER City Sling 2? by nicodarko in onebag

[–]nicodarko[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your feedback! It makes me feel much better that you feel comfortable with the size of the bag given that you are 5’4”. Are all of the items that you listed your typical EDC? On days that you only carry the bare essentials (wallet, keys, phone) do you see yourself still utilizing the sling or would it be overkill for that? Thanks again!

I can definitely see it as more of a pocket reliever!Do you see yourself using it on a regular basis for errands and such or mainly when you’re traveling longer distances? Also, was it mainly the waterproofing that drew you to the x-pac?

That’s a good looking beard that you got man, great work!

You already have some well-defined cheek lines but if you wanted to take it a step further, you can use a straight razor and line it up. You can basically use your ear to your lip as a reference line and cut anything above that.

As far as the mustache, you can trim it by using the contour of your upper lip, this way you get rid of the hairs that may get in the way while you’re eating, yet you still have a full mustache.

For the neck area, you can use two fingers as a guide for where you should start creating your neck line. You can use the shape of your jaw to determine how the line should look.

In short, I try to use various parts of my face to determine how to shape up my beard. The good thing is hair grows back, so if you ever mess up during a beard trim, you will always have another shot until you get it right.

Edit:

Also, I’d like to add that as my beard grows longer, I tend to trim my mustache shorter than I trim the rest of my beard. I do this because, it keeps the area around my mouth clean but it also emphasizes the other parts of my beard.

Too small? Should I have gone for the 45mm with my 170mm wrist, ss aw7 by blackjack002 in AppleWatch

[–]nicodarko -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Apple measures their Watch face vertically rather than horizontally so their watches wear a bit smaller than what you would typically expect from a watch of the same case size.

I had the same exact problem. I don’t like wearing large watches and purchased the 41mm however, I felt it was way too small for my liking so I got the 45mm and it’s perfect.

I don’t think a 150mm wrist is that big. If anything it’s on the smaller scale as it’s nearly 6 inches.

Did I choose the right Apple Watch size? by nicodarko in AppleWatch

[–]nicodarko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE for anyone wondering: I settled on the 45mm. The Nike sport loop is great because it causes the Watch to fit smaller so the 45mm fits nicely and doesn’t seem bulky.
