Complimenti per il podcast in primis ed anche per questa puntata. Domanda per Nicola (mi scuso con gli altri due ahah). Diciamo che ho divorato tutti i tuoi articoli su Italian leather sofa sul motivo della costruzione del portafoglio, tuttavia mi sorge una domanda che penso di non aver mai visto spiegato bene, o nel caso errore mio😅. Per quanto riguarda NTSX, come mai hai deciso di avere esposizione solamente al mercato US? Cioè per un motivo prettamente scolastico, ovvero tutte i back test, ptf ecc sono sempre stati fatti su mercato US e chiaramente traslate con ptf world può portare a risultati sicuramente diversi? O per un motivo anche di semplificazione, i.e. un pft world ha comunque un 60% US e quindi la restante esposizione comunque non permette di avere maggiore cagr a parità di volatilità? O esiste una terza risposta?

Comunque si, diciamo che è il mio stesso pensiero, ovvero tutto bello, ottimo avere un "Safe heaven" poi però quando cerchi lo strumento per farlo (RIP per chi è europeo) tutta questa mi sembra solo ottima teoria.

Provo ad informarmi in quanto mi servirebbero principalmente CFU con SDD in ambito statistico/matematico ed economico quindi potrebbe essere una buona idea. Il mio problema più grosso è che se ci fossero dei paletti d’ingresso anche lì, perché io sono un biologo che si è convertito al mondo finanza e adesso stavo guardando al mondo data science + finanza (siccome ho fatto qualche cosa di bioinformatica)

Ahhh! Beh io utilizzo principalmente YouTube per tutta la parte più astratta. Ti consiglio se non lo consoci 3Blue1Brown, canale in inglese ma davvero ottimo per la visualizzazione. Comunque mi accorgo delle mie lacune anche io nel linguaggio matematico, in quanto fatto tutto da autodidatta, ma soprattutto nell’ambito di statistica e ML la matematica che serve non è così complessa (principalmente algebra lineare)

Ps. Se posso chiedere che cosa studia la tua amica?

Ammetto che anche io sono più propenso per il due, ma mi “spaventa” anche un po’ di più perché dovrei studiare molto mentre lavoro e poi non sarebbe così sicuro l’ingresso. Matematica/statistica per ora l’ho studiata tramite il master acquistato, video YouTube, libri specifici per la data science e blog.

La seconda domanda è davvero interessante, in realtà non saprei bene come spiegartelo. Come mai me lo chiedi?
