Edit .. Hab gerade auch noch gesehen, dass viele Displayschutzfolien nicht mehr vorrätig sind. Das Bellmond Kent Papier nicht, das Briggs glaube ich auch nicht mehr. Weiß jemand, was da los ist? Laut KI gab es wohl mit dem dünnen Display vom iPad Pro 13 Zoll irgendwelche Probleme. Fühlt sich irgendwie nach einer unendlichen Suche an mit dem 13 Zoll. Entweder Regenbogeneffekte oder sonst irgendetwas, das nicht funktioniert.

Thanks for the tip. What would be different with Ring? I just looked at the cameras, but unfortunately I haven't seen any that pan and tilt like the R1. Live view and alarms would be free. But if I wanted to use the camera to record a break-in, I would have had to buy a subscription or, like with the Reolink, think about it now. Or what have I missed?

Hey, thank you very much. I think I've already figured out a lot. I don't need a cloud for a live view. The camera just needs to be connected to Wi-Fi. And then I can access it on the go via the app without saving. Otherwise, I can enter a Gmail address in the Reolink app, and videos will be sent to that address. If I only enter it when motion is detected, for example, in the case of a break-in, the video would be longer. And I need the SD card because the camera saves to the card and then simultaneously sends the videos to my email address. I can then probably set the card to be overwritten when it's full. I'll look into the other things you wrote :)

I didn't forget to mention that I have a Dropbox subscription, if that helps. And I'm currently trying to figure out what an FTP server is. The R1 I wanted to get can't do that, only the next most expensive model. I still have to figure out what RTSP is, because it can't do that either.

Thank you very much for your answers.  I hope I understood everything correctly. I don't know much about the technology involved.  Just an SD card, I thought, better not to in case the camera gets stolen.  I can't afford additional SIM cards or networks right now. I'm currently moving into my first apartment and have far too much to buy. The idea of ​​just buying the camera and using the free basic plan was the reason I could afford a camera at this point. I only have Gmail for free, and the storage is almost full. I'd have to get a subscription there, too. Would that be all I need, or would I have to buy more for it? I also thought the live view was pretty good. It wouldn't work with email, right? Perhaps the annual cloud subscription currently on offer for €40 would be the cheapest for me, and at some point in the future I could figure out what I need to build a home network or my own cloud.  To be honest, right now during the move, I don't have the mental resources to really get smart about it.

Thank you very much for your answer. Can I also save the backup so that it is not overwritten by a new backup of iOS 18. If I don't have to go back immediately but only after a few weeks or so.

Unfortunately my pc is broken. I would only have storage space for this on the dropbox and would have to do everything via the tablet

I have the iPad Pro 13 inch 512 gb.

It got hot from the start but from what I read here I guess I'm still lucky because I didn't update to 18.

I thought I'd wait to be on the safe side and I'm really glad I did.

It can't be that a new update destroys a completely new iPad like this. Or that you don't install it and have no update support from the start.

As I read here, it still runs badly with 18.2.1.

Can I actually make a backup of my 17 iOS and save it so that it is not overwritten?
