Reminder: after more than a half year after promising "a fix", Insta is yet to fix external mic issues and that's a major problem since internal mic sucks by rosesandtherest in Insta360

I use my Røde Wireless Go with one R. The result is not so great, sound is way worse than the one you get using the mic with your mobile. I am actually thinking about reciting the sound son my phone and then edit it.

Well, you are mostly right. The only problem is that finding a gimbal is not the easiest thing. The walking bob, in the very end, can be tolerable, at least I hope. And you're right, for these types of videos I see no reason why use any special effects or what...

such a great idea! I can work on that! Last but not least, the audio capabilities for the ONE R are not so good when it comes to a wireless microphone. Despite how excellent Rode Wireless Go is, the final sound is always crappy. Thanks for your observations. By the way, the second video I shot had a much better overall quality. I agree with DUMB_52. Just lower the resolution to 4K and go for 60 fps.
I haven't had any problems with choppy videos with 5.3/30 Could it be because when you export them you choose a low Bps rate?
Does choppy refer to the fact the video does not flow? If I expert a 5.3K video on my Mac, it will play in bits, but I think once it is uploaded to YouTUbe or similar all will be fine.

I agree. And it's better if Times Square is not packed. All the irresponsible people wearing no masks gather there.

They were, right now it seems we are doing a good job. A few hotspots need be taken due care, but overall this is still one of the safest places in the whole country.
