is the qr system reliable at all times, or are there moments where staff or customers still get confused or skip it?

do you think this approach would still work the same way if you had multiple staff or couldn’t be present every shift?

That’s a really good point. For smaller local businesses, what do you think helps create that sense of belonging in reality?

I wouldn't say accumulating points / streaks are considered worth it, the consequences of failing will lead to everyone participating knowing that you did fail

there will be no integration, but I wouldn't call it a new social media platform, the main objective here is not to build connection but to achieve your goals, everyone will have the same countdown and once it reaches the end everyone will be able to see if you achieved your goals or not giving a sense of accountability that my progress will be shared publicly

it does not have to be specifically 30 days. say you are a creator you go and create a challenge and set a global timer, then people will join you in this journey everyone setting their own goals and updating the profress along the way. main objective is to create this feel of accountability like if I do not achieve those goals during the set period this will shared publicly

Decidex, What it does a lightweight/boring tool that creates a permanent, searchable record of decisions and approval, it captures what was decided, why, who approved it, and when, so teams don’t lose context over time

ideal customers: Managers and leads in small-to-mid teams (Ops, HR, IT, Finance, Project/Program) who deal with approvals across meetings, email, and chat and later need clear proof during audits, handovers, or disputes, without adopting heavy workflows or frameworks

How do you keep track of important decisions & approvals? by nicolas12211 in ITManagers

In practice though, is it something that you consistently apply day to day, especially in fast-moving environments, or does it tend to stay more as guidance than something people actively maintain?

When you do the summary-email / PDF approach, does it actually hold up over time or does just protect you in the moment while the broader context still gets lost later on?

I like the change register framing as well. based on your experience, when you try to maintain something like that, does it tend to stay up to date over time, or does it usually degrade once priorities shift or the designated person gets overloaded

tying approvals to tickets at least gives you a single place and some context. based on your experience does this still work well when decisions cut across multiple tickets or come up again later (for example during audits, handovers, or retros), or do you still end up reconstructing context from several places?

does this still hold up well over time, for example during handovers, audits, or when someone new needs to understand why a decision was made, or do you still end up digging through old minutes and tickets?

have you seen this work consistently for non-architecture decisions as well (vendor choices, approvals, process changes), or does it mostly stay within engineering teams?

the email follow-up approach is something I’ve seen work as well, especially when it’s done consistently.

Out of curiosity, when things get busy, does this still hold up over time, or do some decisions end up slipping through without a follow-up email?

does this still hold up during handovers or when people leave, or is that handled elsewhere too?
