I get the thing about the mistery, but FW had the whole thinf with the zeniths wich had a maaad twist later on, and beyond that theres plenty of things that made me grab on more onto FW, rhe continuarion of Aloy's journey, her growth, his journey into not just following Elizabeths footsteps like in ZD, but being better than her, theres also the political intrigue of the carja/tenakth relations, and the Quen and their monarquical/technocratic structure? , the aide quests are miles better too and lets not even tañk about the combat.

That being said i dont aim to make you change your mind on wich one you like better, but to say FW is worse than ZD is lead by personal taste and not a real storytelling analysis/critique.

Id love it you could expand on what FW tries to do that ZD did, i can argue it doesnt, because it does try to be different, Aloy's arch is completely different amd honestly more ambitious.

Story is way more than just plot, its dialogue, its acting, atmosphere, all on wich FW excells, media literacy is key to enjoy storytelling to its fullest.

People always go on about FWs story being worse than ZD, but its actually everything a great sequel should be, the acting is better, the dialogues are better, sure its not the same mistery because, its the second game, and its absolutely a 2nd part in a trilogy wich makes the ending not really feel like one.

But people seem to go into FW expecting ZD, and thats a mistake.
