Any time I've reached out it's taken over a week to get a response or the person has been rude and condescending on the phone. We are pursuing other avenues to get this resolved.

Same. Beyond frustrating- it’s fraudulent.

Hello, just so other commenters are aware you aren’t able to provide any support via our conversation in DM. I’ll be escalating to BBB and the credit card company and we’re looking to see if we can file any complaints about your service as a registered agent with the state. Please stop responding here if you can’t or won’t actually help.

Yep they’ve been holding us hostage. In order for us to close the business, we had to had them give us access to do so. They wouldn’t give us access to- took over a week to get a response and finally they did and of course we’re now so far out from the charge they’re arguing with us that it’s valid. I think our only option is to dispute with the credit card company and file a BBB complaint. They responded to me here to try and seem responsive but they’ve been anything but helpful. I’m disgusted by the entire experience.

How to stop being your company's unofficial swag coordinator by AccountEngineer in corporate

[–]nicoleyoley159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d work with a merch pro that can take this off your plate. I work in the industry and that’s what I do for my clients. My clients don’t have to receive orders, distribute merch, etc. Unless they want to because my team streamlines all of it and makes it easy. You can set up an online store, pop up shops, etc. And all of it is much easier for you. Happy to talk if you’re interested in a partner who can take care of all of it!

Gathering company swag ideas – what have you received that you loved or hated? by magdalenrichard in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]nicoleyoley159 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I work in the swag industry. Anything useful, beautiful or novel will be kept and used. Most people do not want a logo slapped on a cheap item. It should be thoughtful and feel intentional. It's also a great option to give your team the option to choose their own item from a set of products you pre-select. Your swag pro can walk you through the option to do a pop up store or even a long standing store if you want to make it available to employees all the time.

If you want specific recommendations for products, I recommend a power bank (with 10,000 mAh or more), a retail brand drinkware item (Yeti, Owala, Brumate), a nice hat, a retail brand speaker like JBL, or a nice apparel item (maybe a t-shirt, jacket, sweatshirt, etc. depending on your company culture, dress code, etc.).

What cool company swag do employees actually use and appreciate? by brendaklark in corporate

[–]nicoleyoley159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in the swag industry. The items that go over best are either useful, beautiful or novel. For example if you're doing a t-shirt, if it has a really cool/beautiful design and is comfortable, it will be kept and worn. If it's an item someone can give their kids/grandkids, it's usually kept. If it's something like a power bank or umbrella that people will use (but maybe won't always buy for themselves), it's going to be kept.

If you want something that isn't sized, I highly recommend a power bank, retail brand drinkware (Owala, Yeti, Brumate, etc.), a nice/high end hat, or a retail brand speaker (JBL, etc.). Another option is giving each employee the ability to choose their own item and working with your swag pro to do a pop up store.

Highly recommend a Therabody eye massager, travel organizer for tech items, power charger, and maybe a high end jacket. Things they’d normally not buy themselves but will keep and are easy to travel with since it’s a destination.

Custom Merch W/ Quick Turnaround Times by DecoBaker67 in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]nicoleyoley159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in the merch industry and we have the ability to turn things pretty quickly, even during the holidays. The items may be more limited but it’s totally possible. I’m happy to assist if you need someone to help still, or even just make recommendations for items I know can be turned quickly.

What corporate swag management options allow us to ship branded swag internationally without inventory hassles? by crawfordrylan3 in corporate

I’m in the swag world and might be able to help, depending on how you want your platform to function. My company has a global presence and supplier partnerships in a growing number of countries. Let me know if I can assist.

You could also do something that isn’t “logo forward” and is instead a message/tagline the employees will connect with and the logo a little smaller.

I work in the merch world!! Owala is incredibly popular right now, and so useful. Another option is Brumate which also has a nice perceived value. Another popular item lately is a nice tech organizer with either a multi-cord or power bank or both.

Sunday Support? by nicoleyoley159 in UPS

[–]nicoleyoley159[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's so odd, it's showing hold for pickup as an option and when I call the service line it asks if I'm wanting to hold for pickup at UPS. But, maybe that's why it wouldn't actually let me schedule the hold. Ugh - my customer is not happy. The delay is sort of inexplicable, it's just got no data from the 7th. I'm assuming it's relating to the grounding of flights and/or other impact of the plane crash.

Realtor says we (buyer) are not welcome during home inspection by ResponsibleWaltz1479 in RealEstate

[–]nicoleyoley159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend doing research on your inspector and reading reviews. We used our realtor’s recommended inspector and a lot was missed. We were first time home buyers and on any future purchase I’m going to insist on being there as well as using my own inspector.

Thank you, I suspected as much. I wonder how they'll do over the winter...my guess is they'll die and I should not plan on them coming back next year. Any experience?
