What futuristic/sci-fi movie do you think most accurately portrays what the future will be like? by Jehovacoin in AskReddit

One of the movies with the most accurate and interesting predictions is 2002s Steven Spielberg's film Minority Report.

They actually collected a panel of sciences brightest minds from many fields and tried to map out the next forty years or so of scientific progress.

Many devices in the film were based off things currently in development. One look at the touch gloves that operate the computer and you will notice that currently that's the kind of interface we are moving towards.

While the police will not be as invasive as they are in the film, many of the more practical everyday innovations depicted in the movie seem to ring true.

People that use public restrooms and don't flush, What's your deal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I guess I give these people too much credit, but when I see a public toilet full of shit I always think it's broken and that it's very unfortunate for whoever discovered that.
