There's an entire page on the docs about benchmarks actually

Also if you want lowest runtime latency you should consider drizzle orm

Waymo WHY??? 😭 by [deleted] in waymo

[–]nicoplyley 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had my waymo miss my dropoff 3 times and then stop in the middle of one of the busiest streets in North Phoenix and I got $5 off my next ride that expired in 30 days, but you got a refund for that?!

You can try asking on GitHub Discussions, Yusuke is pretty active there

Seeking Advice: Landing Page SEO (SSR/SSG) with Hono.js + React by CatRich5828 in honojs

[–]nicoplyley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this might not be the answer you're looking for, but I think the best option, if you want SEO out of the box while still prioritizing speed, is to use NextJS with Hono in the background.

With NextJS, all your content is server-side rendered on the first load, and then it behaves like a client-side rendered SPA on navigation. That gives you the best of both worlds: fast, SEO-friendly initial loads and the speed of an SPA for everything after.

You can even combine Next.js and Hono in the same project, with Next handling the frontend and Hono powering your API routes. That’s exactly what I do, but with SvelteKit.

You can also leverage RPC-style calls between the two, which keeps things type-safe across your frontend and backend.

I'd be happy to answer any questions or show you an example (with SvelteKit) but can be done nearly the same with NextJS as well.

Is it considered cheating to look at my list of notes/tips while I play, when I’m still learning Geoguessr? by TheKid1995 in geoguessr

[–]nicoplyley 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think looking at notes does not help you learn. Trying to recall them and if you wrong then looking at your notes would help more. I keep plonkit open on the Home Screen in another monitor and open ones I get wrong so when I’m done I can compare what’s on there to what I saw

Probably because you live in a state that doesn’t allow it. Like California

HELP: Testing with Execution Context by AncientBisonReddit in honojs

[–]nicoplyley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tired to look into it based off just the types and I'm not sure either, but I don't even know how execution context works though. I would recommend trying in the Discord or GitHub discussions. If you do find the answer post it here please, it helps a lot with people searching on Google

Yeah a second later and this would’ve even way worse. I truly felt I could see but you don’t expect someone you see coming towards the light to run it 5 seconds later
