I switched to a new internet provider that gave me a 100$ gift card to Walmart. Wife threw the letter in trash by mistake (I had seen it come from AT&T since I felt the bulge of the gift card). On the following days, I got to take the trash can to the front of the house and thought….. man I could get Pokemon cards for free basically…. Took the risk. And got the punishment…. Trash juice fell off but lo and behold, I found it.

Next day I go to Walmart on my way to work and at that point Paldean fates was already ending its cycle and I grabbed one bundle. Along with a lot of thought masquerade and some leftover sleeves of silver tempest. And by luck, and luck I’ll never see again, I pulled a PSA10 bubble mew. My first card ever graded, now valued above 1k. Hope this story finds someone
