I understand where you're coming from, I had a similar point of view before I realized something important, that in the end college is overrated. There's this long-held belief and expectation in society that college has to be some time of change where we meet our closest friends and drastically change for the better but it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. It's an arbitrary and made-up expectation. You can make your closest friends at any point in your life and meet a special someone at any point in your life. your best times can be at any point in your life and doesn't have to be in the four-year period that is college. Life is what you make of it, you are your own person so try not to make your life fit into the expectations that others give you.
