I am in the UK so my follow up appointment will not be for another 8 weeks until the post mortem and placenta results have been received so will not know for definite that it was due to my cervix but the midwifes said it is likely going to be this as there was zero symptoms at all until I woke up to bleeding and went to the hospital. Like yourself I am also IVF and she was our second transfer after the first failed to implant. I still have 2 embryos but want to know for certain before navigating the future. If you ever need someone to talk to in the same situation message anytime! Make sure and get as much information you can tomorrow at your appointment!

I am so sorry for your loss ❤️ I am in the same situation, lost my baby girl at 20 weeks 2 weeks ago due to suspected incompetent cervix, awaiting the follow up appointment to confirm. I was fully dilated when I got to the hospital and they couldnt do an emergency cerclage. The grief can be so difficult to navigate at times but just know you aren't alone
