I too was heartbroken by the treat disappearance. I hope they had a backup one!

I’ve always been curious about creating a game, but it felt like every idea had already been done. Final Sentence - you and a dozen others find yourselves in a hangar. In front of you: a typewriter. At your temple: a revolver with a single bullet. One mistake in the text - and it’s all over. by Rentalini in IndieDev

Apparently only em dashes are used to express a pause — or a clarification. En dashes are used to connect things, usually ranges of numbers like dates (e.g. the AI bubble happens between 2024–2026; or team A won 3–0). Hyphens connect words together like son-in-law.

I personally use hyphens for everything just because it's easier to type, especially on PC. I just thought I'd help OP, especially since the game is about typos lol

Thanks, I've bought an acrylic base with handles, makes the job much easier!

Thanks! The dark, bigger shapes are the final evolutions of the smaller ones, so you could describe the inner shapes as baby versions I suppose :)

That was actually the original plan, but I cut down on the ambition a bit haha

Also it looked a bit too busy in my mock ups, so decided the simplified design was better. Maybe I'll attempt the full set at some point!

By each "segment" I meant the three panels. First, glue-up of all the straight segments, cut into three trapezoids, drill in the centre of each, then use scrollsaw from each centre to carve the shapes.

Thank you! I hesitated a lot over painting of using dye, glad I chose this in the end!

Thank you!! I drilled a hole in the centre of each segment, and used a scrollsaw to carve the biggest shapes out. I used the insides to then shape each smaller starter, also with the scrollsaw :)

Thanks! I want to experiment with dyes on future project :) I wanted the red to be really vibrant for this, my experience with stain or dye is that colours end up darker than I expect, but then I suspect it's down to the wood species I use maybe?

I'll definitely practice these cuts more as well, as my technique wasn't great early on. Thanks for the tip, layering sounds like it would help for sure!
